About Paxilgen

Paxilgen is a free website for playing games in your browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create: pick a game, press play, and it runs on your phone, tablet or computer.

Where our games come from

The catalogue has two kinds of games. Some are HTML5 games hosted on our own servers. The rest are provided by game publishers and distribution platforms that allow their games to be embedded on other sites, such as GameMonetize and GamePix. Each game stays the property of its developer, and the developer’s own name and terms apply to it. If you are a rights holder and want a game removed, see our copyright page.

How the site is organised

Games are grouped by genre, for example puzzles, racing, shooting, sports and cooking, so you can browse what you like. The New page lists the most recent additions, and search finds a game by name. Our blog has guides on how browser games work, and how to get a smoother experience on an older device.

What we keep out

We do not list games that centre on real-money gambling or sexual content. If you find a game that does not belong here, or one that does not load, tell us and we will review it.

How the site is paid for

Paxilgen is free to use. We plan to show advertising, which pays for hosting and for adding new games. How ads and cookies work is explained in our privacy policy.
